(Ethno)Botany In the Clouds

While in Yunnan, China, I had the special opportunity to live with and learn from three Ethnic Minority families who call the Himalayan Mountains and foothills home: The Nu People, The Lisu People, and The Tibetan People. I wanted to better understand how globalization, climate change, and politics were effecting their ancient plant-based traditions and what could be done to help protect their culture, land, and one of the most botanically diverse places on earth.
